Mills CNC appoints Mr Chris Neale as its new business manager for Wiltshire and the Home Counties region.
Mills CNC, the exclusive distributor of Zayer and DN Solutions machine tools in the UK and Ireland and a leading automation systems supplier to component manufacturers, has appointed Mr Chris Neale as its new business manager for Wiltshire and the Home Counties region.
This business manager position became vacant following the recent internal promotion of incumbent, Richard Wilson, to the role of Mills’ sales director in November 2024 and, to ensure continuity, Richard will be on hand to provide mentoring advice and support to Chris during what is expected to be a short familiarisation and transition period.
Apprentice-trained and time served engineer, Mr Neale, joined Mills CNC in 2017 and, over the last eight years, has worked for the company in a number of different roles.
These include three years working on the Mills’ Technical Helpdesk and three years providing technical support to customers investing in the company’s SYNERGi automation systems. His most recent position was Mills’ Customer Support Manager which he occupied from 2022 until 2024.
Mr Neale brings with him a wealth of invaluable experience and expertise gained from dealing with Mills’ customers, providing them with engineering and service help and advice on a daily basis to help maintain the productivity and efficiency of their machining operations, and the high performance and smooth running of their machine shops.
The Wiltshire and Home Counties region is pivotal to Mills’ continued success, and employing the right person with the right skill set to help facilitate organic growth with existing customers, and develop business opportunities with new customers, is a commercial imperative.
“Mills is a progressive company that always puts its customers first. The depth, breadth and technical excellence of the company’s machine tool and automation systems portfolio is second to none and its pre- and after-sales services are the best in the business too.
“I am delighted to be joining such a successful sales operation and am looking forward to the challenge and making a positive contribution to Mills’ sales performance.”
