Doosan’s Mynx-series of vertical machining centers is designed for heavy duty machining applications, and for machining tough and hard-to-machine materials.
The machines have a box-guide-way design, and feature powerful spindles, large working envelopes and generous-size tool changers.
There are four different sized models in the range – Mynx 5400, Mynx 6500, Mynx 7500 and the new Mynx 9500.
The machines are available with either a BT 40 or BT 50 spindle/tooling configuration.

The Doosan Mynx II Series is compatible with Fanuc, Siemens and Heidenhain.
The Mills CNC Projects' Team, incorporating experienced engineers, will undertake a site survey and create a tailored machine delivery and installation plan that is pre-agreed with customers.
The project team will then manage the whole process and act as a seamless interface between the customer, Mills CNC and any required 3rd party specialist service providers through delivery, installation and commissioning of the machine

Doosan Mynx 6500/50 II Vertical Machining Centre
Specialist fastener manufacturer Mellish Engineering Services invested in 3 new Doosan machines to meet growing demand for its products from offshore and subsea drilling customers. The first machine, a Mynx 6500/50 vertical machining centre was purchased following trials at Mills CNC Technology facility and now produces fastener components from difficult-to-machine materials.
